Episode Two: More Than Meets the Eye Part 2

Episode two of the first season of the Transformers(G1) was the second segment in a three- part episode entitled: "More Than Meets the Eye". 

When last we left the heroic Autobots, they were attempting to stop Megatron and his army of Decepticons from taking over an oil rig. Megatron, being in an "if I can't have it, then nobody can" mood, blew the rig to pieces. Now the Autobots must save the human workers from the wreckage and find a way to stop Megatron before he does any more damage.

Definitions

Energon- Source of energy used by Transformers. Energon is used to supply energy to Transformers as well as a fuel for Ships, weapons, and other things requiring a source of energy to operate. Earth sources of electricity can be used to produce energon. During the war on earth, the Decepticons attacked many earth power facilities in order to gain energon. Energon can also be extracted from certain minerals. However, this is usually an unstable form of Energon. During the first stage of the Beast Wars, The Maximals and Predicons were forced to take the alternate forms of indigenous life forms in order to protect themselves from unstable energon fields that covered most of the planet at the time. Energon waves can have phenomenal effects on Transformers that are exposed. However this is one property that has yet to be fully understood. 

The Transformers debued in 1984. The first episode was part one of a three- part episode by the name of "More Than Meets the Eye". This is the first episode of The Transformers Generation One(G1). Generation One is a term used for the first Transformers series. G1 had 4 seasons with 98 episodes total. In 1986, between seasons 1 & 3, The Transformers: The Movie came out. Since 1984, Transformers has reigned as one of the longest surviving toy branches with a show accompanying it. More people have heard of transformers than those who have heard of Gundum or any other show revolving around robots. I think that it is safe to say that the Autobots will be battling the Decepticons for many years to come. So without further ado, I present the first episode of The Transformers.
